TPL and a Butt Whippin

Wind was blowing like nobody's business this morning, out of the north:eek:. No big deal as I wanted to go south anyway and a recently installed autopilot made it not too bad. Picked up 4 fish in the 22-26" range. All fish hit deep umbrellas with 6" shads, both white and yellow, which were rigged with a variety of Tsunamis, Calcuttas and white bucktails. Caught 3 off the SR buoy near TPL and one over near BPL. Pulled 7 rods; 4 deep umbrellas (20-32oz), 2 rods with tandems rigged with bucktails and Tony 17s and a WB single green #2 drone with 6oz. Will be back out Wed:D.

Don,

Thanks for the intel on the spread. I hope to get out this week sometime and give it a shot. You did well to find some in the crappy weather.

Don

North wind is never fun but at least you got a few fish for the tough effort.

Might slide out Weds as well - looks to be best weather day.
