EXCELLENT MSSA Meeting, last night

Annual FIRST MONDAY of the month meeting at Steamers in Bethesda, with Walleye Pete filled the HOUSE !!!!

(Seriously Jeremy, we gotta get rid of the pool table)

Very special appearance by Francis, THE FRANCIS, you know the guy that use to fish everyday of his life and post on TF until he met a VERY attractive young lady, who was there by the way..... Always nice to see Francis, even thou his fishing time has been depleted by a girl..... Its ok Francis, we all need to get laid.....:D:D:D

Pete brought a very impressive laptop/sound system/projector set up. The sound quality was unreal.

Having fished with Pete many times, I thought I knew all he did. But he shared more tidbits that he;s learned over the year.

One thing I never knew was the water temp from Calvert Cliffs, BY LAW, can't be more than 10 degrees than the Bay water.... I'm sure there's more to that, which I'm gonna look up...

Next month, Perching with Capt Mike Benjamin, HOPEFULLY ( I'm still working out the details) with very Special guest, his MOM.. and pal of mine Ele...

Stay tuned:)

And we gotta find a NEW way to keep our bar tab in line... Jesus Christ we spent a lot of ca$h.

He has a new website too: www.walleyepete.com

Wish I could have made it.

Glad to hear Francis is alive.

Hi B-L,
Somehow stumbled upon this site a few days ago. Surprised to see that you and I will be fishing with Pete at the CBBT next Sunday and Monday.
Look forward to meeting you.

Nice! I'd offer to car-pool but I'll be traveling with the wife and kids to her folk's place in Chesapeake Friday night and staying through the trip Monday. Keep your fingers crossed for good weather.

Thanks for the thought. My wife is traveling with me as well. We're going down Saturday and returning Tuesday. Weather looks breezy but dry. Here's hoping! See ya Sunday.
Joe

If we get blown out my backup plan is to fish the beach in Nags Head or Oregon Inlet for rockfish. Maybe fish the point at night for some sharks. You are welcome to join me for that. Bring a surf rod just in case.

Welcome aboard Joe.

We're a small board of people who give a lot of good information and no ignorant bs.

And there's a fair amount of good natured trash talking among the regulars.

Feel free to jump in whenever ya want and let us know how that cbbt trip turns out.....the cbbt was a topic of discussion today among a few of us that were out wetting some lines,

Thanks, sounds like a plan. Just got back from 3 weeks in NC so I still have an 8' rod in the car. My big gun, a Fenwick 10 1/2 ', is an antique but I'm sure it will still throw 6oz.:)
