Finialy getting g some pre season chores done.

Started building the boards. Straight forward once you have the miters on the front edge figured out.

Replacing all the line on my reels this year. FUN FUN FUN.

Never used it before but went with sufix superior fishing line. I'll give it a try and see how it works out I have used mostly Ande, and Berkley big game previosly both with great proformance. Additionally, I have used bass pro offshore angler brand florescent line with good results.

I normally run 30lb mono on main line and 80 on my leaders. This year I upped it to 40 lb to hopefully fill the real up a little quicker.

Now it's time to figure out how many reels a 4lb spool sufix will fill.....

Good luck with your chores.

Started respooling last week when it was 70 degrees out. Sat outside and thought, "A beer would be great while sitting in this nice weather getting some work done."

I got 3 out of 12 reels done. And emptied 5 beers.
