CBA PLO get away

Marty and I were talking the other evening about the possibility of a point lookout trip December 1-4. We were checking to see if anyone would like to turn this into a CB Angler field trip?
We could see about keeping boats at Buzzes either on trailer or in the water and I can check into the possibility of a group rate for lodging at a nearby hotel.
Fishing should be turning on then and could be a great time.
If you guys in the "big" judges want to run down we can all pile on and split the expenses if you would like. We can get a couple people to drive down so you have transportation while there.
If your interested please put name on this post. Will need head count so I can get with mike at buzzes about slips or trailer parking and the lodging.

This sounds good Mike. You don't need to commit to 4 days. If you can only do an overnight trip (fish two days) that's fine.
It's good to have "buddy boats" when that far away from your home slip; and it helps scouting for fish too.
Many people are afraid to leave their boats in the hotel parking lot overnight. Leaving it at Buzz's marina alleviates that fear.

Also; it's good to have a boat or two with radar that time of the year in case fog rolls in on you.

Anyone who has wanted to try a trip down south; this is a great way to "get your feet wet":D

As of now, the JUSTIFIED will be staying at the Holiday Inn /Marina in Solomons that Thursday and Friday night. I have a full boat going already but will be is the area. We have no reservations about running down to PLO to fish so count on me as a buddy boat for sure. FWIW, if the bite stays hot up here, I plan to save fuel and cancel the run south.

More importantly, I'm sorry to say that according to Tidalfish, Mike from Buzz's lost the battle to cancer last week. I'm not sure what that means for the marina but it is a HUGE lose to the fishing community. I never met him but know he was a great help to many, many anglers.

I hope it wasn't Mike from Buzzes because if it was his ghost has been all over Facebook making posts of his recent trips. He and the fish he has been catching look great!
