Anyone have any tips when using a Manns 25 or 30 ?

Have not used either much, figured I will pull them out and try them again while getting ready for the fall run...

They seem simple enough to me, attach to leader, attach leader to line...

Sound about right ?

I've done well with the red head / white body 25 in fall.

100 feet back in 35 feet of water off Breezy - 22 to 30 inches.

Off Cove Point - did OK with a tandem. 4 oz bucktail and a 25 in solid chartuese.

The black back / chartruese body 30 was good in Decenber - I let it back 40 feet on a downrigger set at 45 - fish were holding at 50 feet and this combo got them.

The Stretch tracks tighter then other trolling rigs - often will cause tangles.

Some put it off a three way - dropping a 2-4 oz parachute. This helps it follow the path of other lures. a 6 foot / 15 foot leader is fine.

One caution - when reeling them in - try to point rod over the side. The Stretch will dig in as it gets close to boat - then POP out. I've seen them fly right into cockpit.
