BB Report

Found plenty of fish from 22-32 inches jigging bkd's around western shore pilings during the ebb tide. Tried drifting eels below the bb on the eastern side of the channel and had 1 knockdown but no hookup. We did witness another eeler land a fish he measured at 45. Who know's what will happen after tomorrow's new system.

I saw an eeler below the bridge yesterday. He said he had a 39 but it had sores on it. I was only out for a few hours so I don't know what else he did. I said to my neighbor that was fishing with me I wish we had some eels to fish with and he said I can get all the eels you want from around my pier. I asked him to make good on it.

Kevlar, we met at SP one evening. You were coming out I was going in.

Wasn't me. My friend was in a mitch craft boat, he was eeelin and had 1 bobber out.

onefishnfool 12-06-2009 08:16 AM

I think I trolled around him. Small white center console, no top about 1/4 mile south of the bridge, 2 on board? I saw 1 bobber out and about 5 lines. When I first saw him I didn't know if he was trolling or drifting, for avoidance purposes.

Paul,

That's them, they were drifting eels.

With your jigging skills I can't believe you're baiting those nasty eels. Thanks for the report, Kevin. I'm really missing fishing this fall. I've been out exactly once in the past 6 weeks and it's killin' me. Congrats on catching, and hope to see you out there soon.

Shawn,

I was just getting in touch with my past and trying to entice a bigun

Baldzilla 12-06-2009 12:12 PM

Shawn sent you a PM here

Shawn Kimbro 12-06-2009 02:12 PM

Just ribbing you, Kevin. I've been hearing of some huge fish caught on eels at the bridge.

Got the mesage, Mark. We'll get out there soon. When I get my work crap straightened out I should have a sweet set-up for fishing. It's taking awhile, but I'm putting together a system with an associated VPN where I can use my mobile broadband and actually work from the boat! :D
