Getting Back to Normal

Sucks that we missed trophy season this year, but now that Herr Hogan has allowed us to resume fishing, lots of charters are reporting slow, but steady catches.

Most know that my wife works at a marina here on Kent Island that is home to a fair sized sportfishing fleet. (That subtle hint was intentional btw)

For the past 3 days the captains have been coming back with limits or near limits of decent fish. Without giving specific information they've mostly all been within 2 to 3 miles of the marina. Still staying south of the bridge.

Catfish, Perch and undersized Rockfish have all been paying regular visits to my pier in the evenings, so we've been having fun with the ultralite gear.

Now if we could just get some consistently decent weather......

Evening bite around 7:30, small Rockfish Candy with a white twister tail got me some undersized fish and this pretty one while trolling in my kayak in about 8' of water.
