Sunday report

Fished Sunday with 5 people. Left the dock in rather rough conditions and set lines heading south with the wind. By the time we got the lines set we were well south of 82. Turned and headed north zig zaging deep and shallow. Had one knockdown early and nothing for a few hours. Around 12:30 we found some bait and fish north of 83 and finally put a 44" in the box. We had 2 more knockdowns but it was time to pull lines around 1:45. Hope it gets better.

Bruce,

That sounds better than the 3.5 - 4 hours I spwnt North of the bridge yesterday. There were about 8 to 10 boats with me and not one got a knockdown.

I slept in on Sunday then had a leisurely afternoon cleaning the boat for this Wednesday's trip. Shared laughs with my dock neighbors and maybe a beer or 2; No stress whatsoever.
Plan on going out this weekend and staying at the Bay Bridge Marina with some friends and enjoying some fine food and drink and being happy I'm not even trying to fish. This trophy season SUCKS (so far anyway).
