First trip of the year, didn't expect much
hit one of the local rivers I was surprised three quarter bushel In two and a half hours we had 1000 feet of line with chicken necks no traps we were in 8 feet of water, ran alongside a drop off. once the tide stopped the bite shut down like a light switch maybe there is some hope. Jimmy |

Second trip..
they're still here... |
Congrats, that's a pile of cash in that basket!! I heard yesterday people were paying $350 a bushel  Absolutely insane! Now $350 worth of grapefruit crushes, THAT makes sense! :D

Conrad's is advertising crabs, Jumbos $112 a dozen, XL $92 a dozen. That's just freakin insane. We been out 3 times, up in Bear Creek, after work. Grand total of one, 7 1/2 in crab. Usually, with 12 hand lines, we would come in with 18, or more.

Third trip.
Super moon?? Best trip so far, after culling out the light legal crabs still had a packed bushel. Shallow along the shore 4' + - produced best. Surprise tagged crab , only the second one ever on my boat. I did not scoup him . Again an afternoon trip after work, was on the water for about four hours. Trout line with necks ....fun time.
