Chumming Love pt/Balt light = Catfish???

Late start, anchored halfway between tip of Love Point and Baltimore Light around 11:00. Lines in 10 minutes, and my son pulls in a CATFISH...first for me out in the bay...

Unfortunately a crew member got sea sick right after and we headed back to the dock, so not much else to report.

Was in the same spot a week ago and ended up with close to 10 blue cats up to about 20 inches...

The water is very fresh north of the bridge and both channel and blue cats come out when that happens... Especially if you have baits near the bottom.

We've caught cats trolling light lures, casting Ratltraps and on just about every kind of live bait you would normally use in the bay.

They're fun to fight but we've always released them.
