Last week

Got out twice last week for really the first time since before the storms. I feel out of the loop and have to figure out where the fish are again. Anyhow, Last tuesday I fished with Reeltor out of SPSP and we ran around looking for birds before the sun went down and then eeled at dusk until dark. We found smaller fish under birds down by BPL and we end up with one fish eeling just over 30" or so. (unfortunately I was drifting structure shallow to start and we got the fish just over deep water on the channel edge)

Then I got out Sat morning for a couple of hours as my wife had 10:30 appt (I had to be home by 10am). We drifted eels around structure and the channel edge and only hooked up one fish which we lost before it got to the boat..

I hope to get out again sometime this week and may run a bit further south.

We got out Saturday morning as well and headed for the Eastern Shore and on our first past Phill hooked up with a fat 28"er and I got a 21"er that was sick as hell. We only boated 2 more fish the rest of the morning and that was it. Good luck if you make it out this week, Wednesday is looking really nice....
