parts for a Shimano reel
I have a Shimano Stradic 2000FG that needs an anti reverse cam shaft.
Anybody know where to get parts for an old reel? I did the e-bay thing and nothing there. bhl (Bruce) |
Ralph (reelsmith) on Tidal Fish works on reels as a part time job. He may have the part you need. I know he can order it for you if he doesn't have it in stock.

Thanks,
I'll send him a PM. I hate to let these reels go. I've had them a long while. |
Ele, at Herbs Tackle in Northeast has order a part or two for my old and new Stradics. Took a little while but she got them for me...

I have used both of the following people to buy Shimano reel parts. Word of caution.....be patient, especially if they don't have it in stock and have to order it.
http://www.mikesreelrepair.com/ Hey.....Mike's is in Canada but their prices are in US dollars. Their site can be tough to navigate, so it might be best just to give them a call. http://www.buckosparts.com/ Not much of a website here either so best to call them as well. Best to get your hands on a schematic of the reel so you are looking at what they are looking at. If you don't have one, try here....http://www.mikesreelrepair.com/schem...ls.php?album=8 Don |

http://www.haddrellspoint.com You will have the part in 2 days and won't get raped. Tell them you want the anti-reverse, think it's about $10 bucks and takes 5 minutes to change out |
