Only mildly annoying??? He makes me want to shove a stick in my eye.

Don't most flounder rigs have spinner blades?

He did not get enough attention as a kid and is seeking it now.

As far as flounder, we have caught them at the mouth of the Bush River on Rattle Traps in the fall on points. Yea, we couldn't believe it either.

Missed his show but saw the one in DC.
Thought he was going to spunk his jeans over a 1 lb Small Mouth

Not exactly a spinnerbait but close - I've seen guys cast the big Road Runner jigs for Flounder and do well.

There are Flounder rigs with huge blades on them - sometimes 2 or 3 , that is close to an in line spinnerbait.

Flounder can be aggressive - might be worth a try in shallow areas.

I love Mike. I am a big fan. He grew up a couple of towns over from me in NJ. I love that he LOVES fishing. He even is known to show up at local lakes in NJ and walks around teaching kids to fish.

I did see it and I think I will put on a spinner bait in 2 weeks to see if that works for me. Yes he is a little annoying but one hell of a fisherman...

Damn, he stole my tactic 4 this spring. Last yr was the 1st year I got to do some serious flounder fishing. When the fish move up on the flats down here in Chinco, and the conditions r just right with clear water, u can literally watch the flounder come off the bottom to chase a lure. I'm talking water from 5ft and shallower. Many guys use bucktails, etc. My idea this spring was to run spinnerbaits off my riggers tipped w/gulps and slow troll using my kicker. We'll c how it goes.

Anyone see Tred Barta last night fishing in SE Alaska for salmon, talking about his desire to go seal clubbing. kinda funny. He took his wife on a sight seeing tour to an island with a bunch of seals and called it a "target rich environment".
